TBBC activities include annual joint meetings, sectoral meetings and roadshows in Britain and in Turkey, as well as finance and investment seminars in London. The Council organizes briefings and meetings for British businessmen and official delegations visiting Turkey. TBBC also carries out activities in order to develop the cooperation between Turkish and British SME’s, joint investments and collaboration in third markets, and to promote Turkish economy and culture to British business and political circles. The Council cooperates with universities and several institutions in Britain, which are actively involved in Turkish-British economic relations.

 

In addition, the Secretariat of the Public-Private Partnership Forum to be established between Turkey and the UK will be conducted by TBBC. The sectoral distribution of cooperation areas is highly diversified. Main areas include infrastructure projects, energy, manufacturing industry, finance and tourism.
