In the Round Table Meeting co-hosted by DEİK and MÜSİAD, Ambassador of Burundi to Ankara H.E Joel Nkurabagaya, President of DEİK Turkey – Burundi Business Council Mr. Abdurrahman Uzun and the Head of MÜSİAD International Relations and Foreign Trade Commission Mr. Zeki Güvercin delivered their opening speeches.

Ambassador Nkurabagaya mentioned in his speech that Burundi is an important African country with its geostrategic location so it would enable easier access for companies that do business in Burundi to other African countries markets. He stated that Turkish investors were privileged in the country and that there were 11 existing Cooperation Agreements between the two countries.

 The meeting was followed by bilateral business talks.
