DEİK's Vardan: "Turkish economy has showen a strong and balanced growth"

With regards to the 2017-Q1 growth rate of 5 percent, DEİK's President Ömer Cihad Vardan underlined the importance of the upwards trend in the Turkish economy: "On the first quarter of 2017, Turkish economy has showen a strong and balanced growth of 5 percent. This 5 percent growth exceeds the expectations and there are two important factors: 2.8 percentage points of the 5 percent growth came from domestic demand and 2.2 percentage points from net exports. While the struggles around Turkey keeps its presence, the higher-than-expected economic growth of 5 percent signals further growth in Turkish economy for upcoming days.
