Türkiye–Europe Business Councils, in partnership with European Business Summits, held the panel titled "From NATO Ally to Industrial Partner: Advancing EU–Türkiye Defence Cooperation" as part of the European Defense & Security Summit 2026.

The panel was convened with the participation of H.E. Ambassador Yaprak Balkan, Permanent Delegate of Türkiye to the European Union; Ali Rıza Alptekin, President of the Defence and Aerospace Division at Kale Group; Ali Serdar Kılınç, Global Marketing Strategies Director at ASELSAN; Tamer Sırçalı, Business Development Director (Armored Vehicles) at Otokar; Renzo Tomellini, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Leonardo Brussels Office; and Fernando Miguélez García, Representative to EU & NATO at Navantia and Vice President of SEA Europe.

During the session, the following matters were addressed:

🔹 The collaborations conducted by Turkish companies with European counterparts;
🔹 The future of partnerships in the Türkiye–Europe defence industry, together with the current challenges in this field.
