ALİ FUAT ORHONOĞLU

Ali Fuat Orhonoğlu began his career at Unilever Türkiye in 1996 within the Customer Development department. Over the next decade, he gained extensive experience across multiple functions, including Field Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing. In 2006, he took on an international assignment as Modern Trade Channels Manager for Unilever Gulf Countries, based in the United Arab Emirates.

Returning to Türkiye in 2009, Orhonoğlu was appointed Customer Marketing Director for the Home Care category, a role he held until 2014. He then served as Customer Development Director for the Ice Cream category between 2014 and 2016. From 2016 to 2021, he advanced to Vice President of Sales & Customer Development and became a member of the Unilever Türkiye Board of Directors.

On July 1, 2022, following Unilever's global Compass reorganization, Orhonoğlu assumed leadership of the Home Care category for Türkiye and the Middle East. On February 14, 2024, he was appointed Unilever Türkiye & UNICA Head of Country, in addition to his existing responsibilities. Most recently, as of January 1, 2026, he became Home Care General Manager for Unilever Pakistan, Türkiye, Arabia, and Bangladesh (PTAB), while continuing his role as Türkiye & UNICA Head of Country.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Orhonoğlu actively contributes to industry and sustainability initiatives. He serves as the Chair of the International Investors Association of Turkey (YASED), is an Executive Board Member of the Turkish chapter of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (SKD Türkiye) and chairs the Executive Committee of the Advertising and Marketing Communication Association (REPID). As of 2025, Orhonoğlu, in his role as Chair of the REPİD Executive Committee, has led the launch of the Ad Net Zero initiative in Turkey, which advances the development of sustainable communication practices in the advertising and marketing sector, and Orhonoglu is leading this initiative in Türkiye.

Ali Fuat Orhonoğlu holds a degree in English Business Administration from Marmara University. He is married and has two children.
