Berna Gözbaşı was born as single daughter of an officer family in Gelibolu, but originally from Kayseri. She was graduated from 9 Eylül University Faculty of Business Administration and earned her B.A. degree in Management (English) in 1996.
Mrs Berna Gözbaşı started her Professional life in Export Department of Kayseri Çinkur. After having courses from London Metal Excahange in "International Finance, Metal Trade, FuturesOptions" she established her first company as BRN International Consultancy and Trade Co. in 2001
She has consulted many companies on international marketing and trade. Berna Gözbaşı, who presented many medium and small scale companies with export, worked consistently in Middle East and West African markets between 2001-2006.
In 2006, she has started mattress production.
She raised BRN Sleep Products exporting more than 60 countries in 5 continents with innovative packing solutions and made BRN one of the leading export companies of mattress sector in Turkey. She has been awarded several times on Entrepreneurship and Export. She is now a role model for young and women entrepreneurs.
Berna Gözbaşı is the first woman assembly member of Kayseri Chamber of Industry, married and has 2 daughters.

- 2009 " Succes of Reaching to New Markets" award on "Stars of Export Contest" organised by Dünya Journal-DHL-Akbank.
- 2009 "Export in crisis – Expanding Employment and Innovative Products" special award by Kayseri Chamber of Industry.
