Yasar DOGAN was born in Kayseri in 1967. After completion of his primary, secondary and high school education in Fatih, Istanbul, Dogan completed his undergraduate study at Malatya Inonu University, Faculty of Engineering.

He began to work in Istanbul Borusan A.S. in 1991. He worked in the elementary branches and as machine expert in the Genel Sigorta and Insurance Supervisory Board Reinsurance institution in 1992. He took up business in the tourism sector with Turista Tourism Travel Agency, which is a family company, in 1993. He has been professionalized in the fields such as incoming tourism, cultural tours and nature tourism with his experience for 22 years period in the sector, he has paid attention to advance in accordance with this target and then, established tailor made travel club for customers.

He is still continuing his activities such as Travel agency, Tour operations, Boutique Hotel Management and Hot air balloon tour management under the body of Sultanahmet Group since 2010 and he is still acting as a chairman of board of directors in Sultanahmet Group.

Furthermore, he is the founder of Turista NL Holding based in Europe other than these activities and he is acting as a Chairman of Board of Directors in the new projects that developed for introduction of our country. Dogan, who is conducting active operations in many fields at TUMSIAD for 9 years, has served as member of various Commissions, Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Commission.

During his duty of Vice-Chairman, he has worked actively in the international structuring of TUMSIAD, and he has served in formation of representative offices in 47 different countries and total 55 points in the worldwide provided that 8 Head Offices are located in Europe. He has managed many meetings, business forums, conferences in the national and international fields, and he has served as member of board of directors and realized commercial activities in many foreign countries.

Yasar DOGAN, who engages in trade actively, and manages Non-Governmental Organization, is married and he has 2 children, and he knows English and German.
