DEİK/Türkiye-Sierra Leone Business Council was established on 11 October 2018, within the scope of Türkiye-Africa II. Economic and Business Forum held in Istanbul in order to assess the existing potential for cooperation between the two countries and provide a platform for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations after Turkish Embassy in Freetown commenced its operations as of 1 February 2018.
