Relations between the Netherlands and Turkey dates back up to 400 years, as a result, DEİK/Türkiye-The Netherlands Business Council was established in 1993 to further strengthen bilateral economic and trade ties between these countries. The determining factors for this decision were: position of Netherlands as an important European trading centre, Netherlands’ large investment in Türkiye.
The Business Council organises Business Forums and CEO Meetings in the context of state visits and promotes cooperation in the areas of construction and infrastructure, agriculture, food, livestock farming, new technologies and live sciences in particular. The Council focuses on best practices in order to create economic advantages for our country.
