Business Council is established as a result of Belgium’s position within Europe, agreement was signed in 1990 by DEİK and its Counterpart Organisation, the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (FEB).
While large Belgian corporations have been active in Türkiye for quite some time, the Council is now paying more attention to improve cooperation with Belgian SMEs. For the near future, the Business Council has defined the following areas of interest: food, textiles, machine building industry, chemicals, industrial-scale manufacturing, real estate and jewellery. The Council plans to intensify its sector-based activities in those areas.
