The DEİK/Türkiye-Georgia Business Council was established in 1992 as part of the DEİK/Türkiye-Eurasia Business Councils with the main purpose of advancing bilateral trade and economic relations, of improving the profile of the Turkish private sector in Georgia and of supporting their participation in strategic projects. The Council closely cooperates with the Ministry of Economics and Sustainable Development and the National Investment Agency of the Republic of Georgia to ensure that Turkish companies are more involved in construction projects for the tourism and entertainment industry and in hydroelectric projects.
